Confidentiality

Your care at St. Jude's Women's Hospital is completely confidential. However, we need to be able to communicate with your GP to let him/her know what tests and treatment you are undergoing. Additionally, we also like to write to the doctor who referred you to St. Jude's Women's Hospital to inform him/her of the treatment you are receiving and its results.

If you have any objections to this, please let us know. If your treatment involves IVF, ICSI or donor gametes, we are required by law to pass on this information to the HFEA (Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority). This information is kept confidentially by them.
